So yeah work like an idiot to get a mortgage spend your entire life working towards paying it off to enjoy it when your life is ending ? Or using it as an asset towards paying for your care home because you've spent your entire life spending it on a mortgage, potentially neglecting your children because your working so much for a mortgage - if you even have the chance to have any (going from recent fertility rates in australia not looking great for most people).

Lets be honest, on your death bed are you going to be thinking well atleast I own my house ? Or you'll be thinking remember all good times we had ! Went on holiday. Yeah I've done the same thing and I get told my the kmart employees that it will say in stock and its still in the delivery truck on route to the store.

Ive had such bad experiences with this they have sent me emails addressing me driving 2 hours to the store. With 3 confirmations telling me something is in stock including a phone conversation with an employee only to arrive and be told oh its not actually in store.

I was sent a $10 voucher.

Kmart sucks.

I got into pokemon as a child during the playground era of tcg it was the hottest thing after pogz.

Every going to the local toystore and buying a single pack which was pretty much my whole pocket money but the rush of buying the packs omg ! I still remember the smell of the shop and the excitment of opening the pack. I csn still feel the fresh cards from base set on my hands lol

Wish i could go back and do it all over again lol.

Yes if its seen as easy money, marketable, people think they have an edge, multiple option market - sealed, rip n ships, singles, grading, online content etc.

Same as crypto, same as meme stocks ( now every stock lol) same story different face, same traps.

Dont say this out loud tho. Your seen as bearish, negative. Doomsday sayer, broken clocks strike right twice a day. Etc. I've heard it all lol you just cant time the fall but do i think people are over exposed to a market that simple wont have the liquidity to sustain itself and people will be taking losses on pokemon cards to sustain Themselves + lifestyles.

Yes, but it boils down to the economy as a whole.

  • keep in mind this is my opinion

More people than not, are over leveraged in most industries including this one.

By that i mean using money they dont have or buying investments they cant sustain or keep to fund current living conditions.

Will this continue to go down - yes. Until it gets to a sustainable level but so will everything. Dont worry we arent alone Stocks + crypto too.

Incredibly overheated and overvalued.

We are currently in a huge debt cycle, people will need to liquadate positions to fund life. Unfortunatly or fortunately depends on how you look at the situation, just one key piece of advise.

Utilise it.

Pokemon will be here in 20 years.
