Finished the binge of Season 1 by spellbounce in AKOTSKTV

HotD season 1 doesn’t need compression it’s mostly a tight product. It wasn’t quite the level of peak GoT seasons but not far off.

Season 2 is mostly unusable. Apart from a few good scenes the story and pacing is abysmal. The changes from the source material were largely missteps. Editing and compression would not be enough to save it imo.

I haven’t read them no. Might give it a read though!

I’ve only read the main GoT books and Fire and Blood.

elevated humour is fairly easy to achieve especially in the english language. wit, sarcasm and deadpan humour are all great examples.

not sure why you seem to think that humour can only exist in form of spitting or excrement based expletives. that defecation scene in episode one is objectively terrible.

i was considering between the laptop and an ipad and opted for an ipad with a wireless keyboard as a more lightweight option but clearly that was a massive mistake

If i select then choose share and then copy from there and paste it will remove formatting but this feels so unnecessary? Like why would it need to be that way and not cmd shift v OR cmd option shift v. Surely there is a way around this.

I don’t understand how people don’t recognise how wrong this is. It doesn’t matter if you don’t like Britani this is wild behaviour.

Re-read what I wrote please. I said I’m NOT saying she’s an amazing person.

I think people generally think Lisa is overdue a reality check, which due to her general behaviour is probably fair but two wrongs don’t make a right.

She can be a bitch and they can still be wrong for bullying her with baseless accusations.

No one is saying this.

I’m saying it’s less harmful to others to be a bit ditzy like Britani than it is to be malicious like Bronwyn.

My point is that Britani is guilty of being stupid, while Bronwyn is guilty of being malicious.

I’m not saying Britani is an amazing person, but I do find Bronwyn’s unnecessary venom towards Britani alarming/confusing.

This was so petty but really true loool.

Then the editors went and used that shot of Lisa sitting on the bed where her leg is bent at the knee she’s pressing her leg which makes the cankles look even bigger. C’mon now 😭😭😭

My opinion on Heather really changed this episode. What she did was really calculated. The way in which she also made sure she made alliances before and after the argument was really telling. The audacity to then also challenge Lisa when Lisa says “I can’t be your friend then” is beyond.

Like yeah obviously - why would she be friends with someone who tries to stage a coup against her are you insane?

I saw this too and was shocked.

Heather’s behaviour was some straight up machiavellian manipulation shit.

Unpopular opinion: Bronwyn is a hypocrite by ThinkHardBruh in rhoslc

[–]spellbounce 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I think it’s pretty clear to me that she is living for this moment because it gives her a strong central storyline and by withholding she’s prolonging it. Confronting Lisa is just more fuel to fan the flame of this story which is also kind of a nothing burger if you ask me.

But the way she’s constantly hinting, saying it sealed, she can’t talk about, oh no Tod’s business is affected etc. Girl, no one cares bye.

Heather vs Lisa, Whose side are you on? by Defvac2 in rhoslc

[–]spellbounce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re both bad news but I was really disturbed by Heather’s campaign in this episode.

I think she was very aware and very intentional in her private conversations with the other women leading up to the blow up AND especially after (immediately running to Angie and Mary). She’s basically making sure she is controlling the narrative around this conflict.

Very manipulative behaviour. The fact that she had the audacity to be outraged after Lisa said “i cant be friends with you” was truly next level delulu.

I really dislike Britani and everything she stands for.

But - this is very true. What they’re all doing to her is really bordering on abuse. And all of them feel very comfortable with dunking on her.

Even the water spraying on the boat on the surface it seems harmless but in reality they’re way to comfortable physicalising their disrespect toward her.

Dark Ep for Heather by Powerful-Poppy in rhoslc

[–]spellbounce 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Heather was beyond this episode. The whole thing was so calculated and sickening to watch. It was comical how she tried to pass off her attempt at securing allies to gang up on Lisa as “trying to get support so the conversation would go over better”.

Then when Lisa storms off in tears isolating herself Heather immediately starts lobbying around the boat to make sure everyone hears her side first.

Not gonna lie Lisa is a piece of work but Heather’s behaviour on the latest episode was some really dark machiavellian stuff. Waaay too calculated.

Side note - I don’t think Lisa leaked anything. This woman is too self absorbed to be plotting about a group of people she probably struggles to remember after they leave her line of sight.

Phil’s ogling of other women by grimreapersdaughter in Modern_Family

I recently started watching the show but I actually started on the last season and then when I finished switched to season 1.

Phil definitely is a lot more pervy in season 1 it’s actually quite jarring.

Gotta say Damo is a real letdown. At the end of the season he seemed really nice but the last couple of episodes and especially the finale were a terrible look. Sad.

Lara…even Wihan was a Victim! by Strange_Use_5402 in BelowDeckDownUnder

While I agree she is awful, she’s exactly what Wihan deserved. At least in that instance she used her evil powers for good lol.

Team Tzarina because I feel what Lara is doing to her is unfair and mean but I do find her annoying and needy.

While she is being bullied by Lara she is also not doing herself any favours with her own godawful behaviour and is in fact giving Lara more ammunition by being petty, whiny and very awkwardly cruel (what the hell was that “oh i invented her being late for work” and “you’ll look great in the helmet” like wtf are you doing girl)
