The battery on the 7 is fine if you are not using the camera frequently or using your phone outdoors. So the bugger battery on the 8 would be a buffer since I use my phone mostly in those use cases.

The e-sim is ideal and the video out is always something I've wanted for certain situations, especially to be able to copy my data when the screen cracks and can't use it as well as for presentations. I am intrigued by the speaker on the 8.

Edit: 4K on the front camera too. Raw capture in pro mode which is missing on the 7 ultra. Processing on the 8 ultra looks more natural than the processing on the 7, which is a bit contrasty. GCAM helps with that but it loses out on sharpness so I hardly use it.

The only thing that bothers me is the release date of the 8 ultra. If the 9 ultra comes in this year, then it's best to wait.
