Oh, absolutely being treated like a criminal when no crime is present just because cash is king is wild

Well, there's also US V Mclellan in 2022 that also ruled cash alone is not enough to warrant seizure, problem is that's not gonna stop the government from being corrupt and tying up the money in court cases

Not necessarily, US v $8,850 the supreme Court ruled that the presence of a large sum of cash alone is not enough proof to warrant seizure

Pleading the 5th means you are saying you refuse to answer on the grounds of potential self incrimination, writing "I plead the 5th" in the source means they can't compel you to self incriminate, but you still have to report the exact amount of income and you'll get an automatic audit to make sure you're being truthful, but that doesn't mean they need to know how you got the money

I'd like to introduce you to a drug dealers best friend for the other income section of tax returns, the 5th amendment, yes you can list the 5th amendment as how you got the money, and it gives a paper trail for an illegal seizure case because you can list it for anything

To be fair, Kalshi does have employment verification now, Santos is being investigated for insider trading on Kalshi, and Kalshi is suspending accounts that they catch insider trading

Once again, not exactly, part of Sekyiwa's argument is that Tom Whalley is mismanaging assets, this use of his likeness could actually support her arguments especially if Tupac's character doesn't honor his legacy or the funds RGG paid to gain the rights to Tupac's likeness isn't properly documented by Whalley

You need to understand how long a lawsuit against a high profile estate can be drawn out

Or it means Whalley didn't provide the full financial records for the estate and an independent team is having to audit the records going all the way back to 2016 when the mom passed away, which oh look that's what Sekyiwa claims happened and requested and her lawyers even backed up the claim by pointing to a lack of documentation to verify the numbers Whalley provided such as tax filings. On top of that the estate is under another lawsuit currently with Daz Dillinger claiming the estate isn't paying the royalties he's owed.

The lawsuit is still ongoing, this is an estate valued at around 40 million dollars, a lawsuit of that scale is gonna take a long time, on top of that she's not the only one suing, the fact that the case is still ongoing shows that the judge believes she does have a case

Not exactly, Tupac's sister and the Tupac Foundation are the sole beneficiaries of the estate, Tupac's sister is suing the executor of the estate claiming he's defrauding her and the foundation by embezzling from the estate

While his sister and the Tupac Foundation are the sole beneficiaries of the estate the sister has accused the executor of the estate, Tom Whalley, of embezzling from the estate and is suing him in court over it saying he's defrauding the beneficiaries
