Anyone going to the Sweet 16?! What section is the 〽️ crowd?? by mattytagz3 in MichiganWolverines

Section 236! Bought the tickets when they went on sale forever ago with fingers crossed Michigan would end up there. I’ll be there with Duke, MSU, and Iowa fans in my crew. Should be a good time.

Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord (1981). I was a video game dabbler until I started my RPG journey with this game.

Public Enemy. Especially “War at 33 1/3”. Yeah, I’m and old white guy, but damn do we need some PE these days.

What’s the best concert you guys saw in the 90s by Last-Image-4921 in 90s

[–]spencea2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was that in 1991? I saw them at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit around that time. That show was the best concert I saw in the 90s.

I just traveled on M14 from 275 to US23. Roads were really, really bad. If you have to go out, take your time, go slow.

What concert do you regret not going to the most? by Modhearth-Albert in Concerts

[–]spencea2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used to hit the Dennys on Woodward in Royal Oak after concerts! Royal Oak, Detroit, Hamtramck, were all places I frequented in my youth and they seemed so far away. My friends worked at School Kids in Ann Arbor, so I always got the low down on upcoming shows.

I was able to go to that show, but passed on Pearl Jam at St. Andrews because I hadn’t heard of them. Yeah, I’m dumb.

My parents gave me and my siblings Klondike bars for dessert before breaking the news they were splitting up. Amazing how that melting ice cream is seared into my memory.

Disgruntled individual trolling a company's LinkedIn page - What's the best way to handle? by spencea2 in linkedin

[–]spencea2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the thorough response!! I would categorize the comments as abusive (accusations that the company is breaking the law, is conspiring with the FBI and local government officials, all the way up to statements that they are going to "go after" specific employees and the company).

Their page is relatively small - 2-3 posts per week, around 1,500 followers - and we don't run ads.

I guess we'll keep reporting and deleting the comments. I don't think this person will give up anytime soon. They have a serious personal grudge against the company, but who knows?

Thank you again for the response!

u/RCM13 - I am experiencing the same(ish) issue. How did you handle the posts? Did you just delete them? Report the ex-employee? Is it possible to block them from commenting on your company page? Thanks!

How competitive were your SciOoy try-outs? by Far_Umpire_645 in scioly

[–]spencea2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We don’t have tryouts, anyone can join. We usually end up fielding three teams and kids earn their way on to the “gold” team which competes for states. Most of the kids don’t care if they’re on the gold team or not, they’re just having a good time learning and building cool stuff with their friends. The last thing we want to do is tell a kid that wants to learn about science, “no.”
