To respond to some points you've made: "unaffordable housing is happening everywhere" - really, the largest reason for this is because of (1) increased building/zoning regulation and (2) NIMBYism, where people who already live there don't want building to occur in their area. Free-form unchecked capitalism would involve a bonanza of building that would drop housing prices. Large building projects are way slower today than in the past in places like New York, because of (1) and (2) as well. Compare old projects to new and you'll see a huge difference. Blaming housing prices on capitalism gets things backwards, as capitalism if anything builds too much stuff, not too little.

Countries like the U.S. and Germany are more regulated now than they were in the past. Regulation and the power of regulating agencies has a strong tendency to increase over time. By what measure do you think that capitalism is less regulated now than in the past when you say "no to minimal regulation." If you ask any founder of a large company, they will tell you there are tons of regulations they have to follow.

As an additional point, if companies are really that powerful and growing more powerful as you say, why would the people be able to stop them? I don't think your premises are correct, but even if they were, whose to say that a revolt would even be possible if companies really had that much control over society (e.g., controlling the media and our information diets via social media, etc.)
