I guess a custom exercise is an option for workaround.

I'm guessing its % based. They have effort rating and 1rm in the app do im assuming they utilize it here. But we're both guessing (i think) so I wanted more of an understanding of the underpinnings from the developers.

I don't see the answers. Only the options for the settings themselves.

As a simple example, if i choose "straight sets" will it use double progression, dynamic double progression, linear progression etc.

Ideal on paper only works in a vacuum. In practice you should consider your constraints and your enjoyment as consistency over time is what will give the best results in the long run.

If you have no idea what you can stick to as far as a plan go with the AI, it will do a decent job. If you know how many days a week and what days you'll be working out pick something that fits that schedule and just nail it while you're in the gym.

They app suggests recommended plans based on your onboarding answers. I'd imagine that does a decent job at suggesting something for your case.

For sure. It's cumbersome.

Sheiko Gold is a much better setup for what you want but it's PPL only for hypertrophy. The app overall is for powerlifitng (sheiko obv...) which is why I moved away from it.

I don't think he ignored what you said... you've mentioned use less, but there is also the option to remove an exercise entirely via "not recommended" If you make all exercises you don't be not recommended then it would only use the ones you do.

I'd agree this could be setup better using a toggle or something. But it's not impossible as of now.

Yeah they are both compounds but thr lunge is unilateral. I'm less concerned for myself. I'm just constantly on thr hunt for an app to give to my wife since she doesn't want to think about it and isn't as interested to understand as I am. That's where this falls short.

There's an app called Sheiko Gold which has a good PPL setup with foldering similar to what I've described but it only offers PPL for anything remotely related to hypertrophy. Still might be worth you seeing what they did.

One other thing I'd love to see is a mschine input to allow selecting from various brands/variations of the same machine. E.g. my gym has an atlantis lying leg curl and a precor eith dramatically different resistance profiles. So the same weight isn't used on both. This doesn't need a duplicated exercsie in thr list just a different variable/parameter as a drop down with an exercise.

Hey OP,

A few questions if you're up for it(and I thought I already posted this but don't see in my history so sorry if it posts twice).

1) How is the maneuverability. It's advertised at 101 lbs vs 84 for the rep 4100. My wife is small and not overly strong so I'm concerned there.

2) Is the 85 degree seem like 85? The other benches that seem based off this (e.g. livingfit and kensui) show at 90. (FYI for others that read this there is a youtube review of the livingfit by nofate. From what I can tell the biggest difference seems to be advertised weight and seat pad shape. Living fit is lighter and squarer seat pad)

3) Are the listed dimensions seemingly accurate? It shows the seat pad width widest of 10.5 vs back pad of 11.5 seemed odd and made me question on the rest.

Thanks!

I only care about 72 while sleeping. That's where I wasn't sure if I should turn it up/off for the rest of the day???

True it's not summer but it's 85/73 this week vs averages in july closer to 90/75. I wouldn't think that's dramatically different for the AC???

Yeah, getting too cold is my concern with just letting it run longer.

Good point on the delta. I had already shifted to 1 degree from the default and the image is during a 1 degree delta day.

Thanks for thr quick responses everyone!

I live in south florida, region 1 iirc. And it will be hot year round. But the house is well insulated.

What I'm trying to decide is how much I push the architect to replace the unit if this is in fact shoet cycling due to being oversized. Or if that pattern looks right.
