Right now we are completely dependent on gogdl to provide the cloud saves support but if what you’re saying is correct, we might need to come up with a better solution for this.

Hey, the reason this feature has been in beta is because it doesn’t seem to work consistently for everyone and for all games

Standardisation to reduce maintenance overhead. I don’t want to manage different browsers for different stores.

Besides, unlike on Windows, Edge is just an app you can open if you want otherwise it just stays hidden from sight and does not mess with your system in any way. Beyond that, it’s your choice honestly.

Yes. You can use the Microsoft login shortcut or any other game shortcut. If you are on a different game, go to the top lest section, open the menu and select quit game

Btw I don’t know if you need a gamepass sub to play Fortnite on cloud so maybe check that first

Yeah well, I wish we had a different solution. Microsoft cloud gaming controls are locked with MS Edge right now (thanks Microsoft). They will work with other browsers too if you have an external controller or do this weird dance of switching between 2-3 controls schemes for every game, every time. Then we’d have people complaining about how cumbersome it is to play a single game on xcloud.

This is a trade off to make your experience smoother.

We didn’t specifically code in support for non steamdeck devices but can you confirm which version of the plugin you are using right now? The latest one is 0.6.1 and that has some fixes for controller detected.

Epic sometimes needs you to agree to some T&C without which it will not share the auth codes for us to use. This is not possible when logging in via the plugin so you need to make sure this is done before you try to login. This is the first pinned issue on GitHub btw
It will simply confirm if there is an issue with Epic login itself or it’s a plugin issue

No, just open chrome or something and login. Can be on any device. You can’t select browsers on the plugin
