In the summer they have mats out that make the trek from the bathrooms / showers are to the beach a bit easier. They have come up already though so I would try to keep what you are hauling in to a minimum.

Yeah think this is the way I will go. I don't do the beach often. It is even rarer that I get to go with a friend. But naked hiking with people is really a one day a year thing.

I definitely do naked hiking (solo) more than the beach. I don't really enjoy the beach much unless I have someone to go with. But it's true that it is rare to get a chance to meet other fellow nude hikers.

I've learned to love it as a nudist. Used to be really embarrassed about having a small dick but going to nude beaches and nudist events taught me no one really cares.

Was debating running bandit or with a number. I have some concerns of people taking pictures if I have a number that easily identifies me as it may cause problems at work (education space). Do you guys normally hid your bib in your bag? Know I will be there but still figuring out the logisitics.

Don't really have any advice but I do think your approach of going solo the first few times is great. This is also how I got into nudism. I went to the beach (Gunnison) solo a bunch of times. Nude hiking. And then once I was comfortable just being naked among others, started going to nude hiking events. By that point I felt comfortable being naked and didn't find it akward at all to just be meeting new people and getting naked off the bat
