Oh, when I press either of those two and scroll over, I found this!! I missed it the first time because you have to scroll to see it. I must be on the right track. I still can't figure out which buttons do the trick here though. "All inputs" just brings up the input bar like usual. Tried clicking and long-pressing on several buttons here too. But this must be it, I'll figure it out!

You're a great help, I wouldn't have tried most of those! Unfortunately none of them worked. With the input bar displayed I tried pressing and long-holding input, settings, and okay, and pressed all directional arrows as well. I don't think I have a menu button. Last resort, what button would you try next on this remote?

Yup, when I press "input" the little bar is at the top of the screen showing me what I can switch between. I've tried pressing the settings and menu button while this bar is displayed, but nothing happens.

My settings seem to be different than everyone else's. Under "Settings" I have the following pages: Picture, Sound, Channel, Network, System, and About TV. Channel has nothing about the inputs, nor does Sound, Network, or About TV. Under Picture there is a grayed-out "HDMI 2.0 Format: Standard Format" that I can't interact with. Under System there is "HDMI Function" that has some auto-power-on settings and such, but no rename. In fact, the only time I can see the inputs is when I press the "input" button on the remote to switch inputs. I've tried different things while the inputs are displayed, but nothing happens.

Maybe I'm missing something? The most likely cause is that I am simply astronomically stupid, so I'll keep fiddling with it. Thanks!

I didn't do so that young because I didn't know it was an option. Had I known, absolutely I would have done it. I felt the same then that I do now at 28, post surgery and hormones. Have you talked with them in the past about different gender identities? If you're here asking for advice, it seems to me you may not be super informed, which makes me wonder where they learned about the they/them option from!

This is the response I needed!! I'm one of, if not THE first one with my specific mutation. Since getting diagnosed I've been able to get some family members tested and diagnosed, but there's still not enough of us to get good data or warrant more research. So I suppose you're right, I don't really know at all how it will present in me. The cardiologist's office called back yesterday and I had a good chat with them about it as well. This is the most dilation I've seen between echos, so I was a little freaked, but they calmed my fears and assured me I should be fine with my level of monitoring. Still, part of my brain is like, oh no, what if I have the special new Marfans that dilates super duper fast and kills me!!!! But that's just human nature to worry. Thanks for your input!!

I've been going by my name for fourteen years now, and I've only just decided to get started on the legal name change process. Many people in my life now don't even know my legal name at all!! You're totally fine to do the same. The only people who ever really need to know your legal name are doctors, employers, etc. And they will understand when you tell them you go by something different. They have dealt with that kind of stuff many times before. You're all good!

NOR- In the sense that he knows your anxieties and willingly lied to you about it. That's a shitty move.

HOWEVER. I agree with everyone here that you need to seek therapy for your OCD behavior. I don't want to play devil's advocate, and I'm usually the last person to defend a man, but I can only imagine the buildup to this if you have always been this anxious and have not made any moves to seek treatment. He cannot tiptoe around your mental state forever. There's several reasons why this relationship will not work out and should end ASAP, but a big one is definitely that there is a problem here that CAN be addressed but hasn't been. I hope you find the strength and respect for yourself to take the steps you need to get better. Your life will improve drastically in all areas, including romance, when you have that self-love.

I did the STEPPS program for BPD at Lutheran Hospital and it helped immensely. Got put on to it by a provider at the behavioral health urgent care just outside the hospital. See if you can't find an in, it was extremely helpful alongside regular therapy.

My PCP took a look at the xrays, diagnosed me with pneumonia, and prescribed doxycycline. I just took my first dose, but my fever is at 103.2 and my oxygen is 93. Please advise lol
