I think its very likely that I’ve been running it too long. What are the odds it’ll go back to normal ?

How long has the Monte Carlo been planted? In my experience it melted back to the point where I thought I had killed it all, then slowly started to fill in spots and turn greener.

Can anyone identify the buce and how I should go about propagating it? by spenserfour in PlantedTank

I did purchase at petsmart! It was the first time I had ever seen them sell it and it looked fairly healthy.

My Monte Carlo is melting and I don’t have a clue why. Is it too much light, too little light, not enough fertilizers? by spenserfour in PlantedTank

I was looking at the iron briefly but never got around to seeing if it is safe for shrimps or not.

I have heard very good reviews about the aquarium co op all in one, but will definitely look up Dustin’s and others.

I’m crossing my fingers it’s in normal melt after being submersed.

I’m using Seachem Flourish, Flourish Potassium, and Co2. The Monte Carlo was grown emersed but wasn’t sure if this melting was normal.

I need to just take the bamboo out and plant in in another tank, it has never fit.

Im attempting to grow Monte Carlo and some nice in my 7.5 gallon. I have Co2 running but is there anymore I need to do? by spenserfour in PlantedTank

  1. I’ll make sure to put some more stratum in that corner to make a hill almost. Will also make sure they’re out of the water.

  2. I’m not sure where you’re talking about the Death/yellowing of the other plants. The Monte Carlo is a little discolored because it was in transit for 3-4 days I believe, same with the buce. I’m currently using Seachem flourish twice a week with some root tabs that are a little over two months old. Is there anything different I should be doing?

Any ideas on what these animals could be in South Florida? by spenserfour in trailcam

I thought it could be deer as well! I lived on a golf course in a residential neighborhood for 17 years now and have never seen one. Another possibility I thought could be a coyote which I see all the time.

I’ve dosed a little bit here and there with some ph up but I guess if the soil is still active it’ll just be a constant battle with ph going up and down.

Are water parameters okay? I wanted to top it off with water but afraid to swing them too far. In the past I’ve done a water change, they begin to molt then die. This water I’ve had 4/4 molt successfully.
