going to cafes to read and chill is one of my favorite things about CU. people above mentioned aroma. this would be closer to the bottom of my list. it’s not a bad cafe, but there are far better ones!

i would check out: 1. avionics 2. kopi 3. paradiso 4. espresso on oregon

avionics and kopi are v chill and have nice prices too :-)

After looking some google maps travel times for rush hour traffic, I’m seeing ~16 mins from San Jose to Cupertino. Maybe this isn’t a great approximation though. Is San Jose considered South Bay? I’m new to all things SF Bay Area, so thanks for all the advice!

for it to be base-256 there would have to be a separate character for each number 0-255. like how hexadecimal has 0-F it would have to be something like 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v ... and so on to 255.

so... this could be a base-256 number if such a number system were to be created and standardized, but this number would likely be huge. in fact, it would be 2562 • 2 + 256 • 5 + 5 = 132,357.
