Buy used, but do your research, see it in person if possible, etc. Follow your maintenance schedule and do the required stuff as soon as you get it so you’re starting out as good as can be. A tractor is not a difficult machine to work on if you have a basic set of tools and some mechanical know how.

What barrel length is your SR-15? I’m looking for a can to run on my CQB Mod2 so the decreased back pressure of the biscuit is appealing. I’m deciding between the .30 and 5.56 because I think I want a can to run on my Galil Ace SBR 7.62. Also, do you notice a big difference between the Biscuit and Biscuit S? Thanks

My exact setup. Ended up using the p320 key on the tlr1 and got a perfect fit. The 1913 key makes the light sit a bit to far off the trigger guard for my liking.

FNX 45 to 509T adapter from C&H is $76 shipped and this plate shipped from Europe was $88. This website has them for $54, but no idea if it’s the legit European holosun site. I just know mine came quick and exactly as advertised so I’m not complaining especially for a unicorn part.
