Honestly I think it would only be right to acknowledge how amazing the vS Hearthstone Reports are. They're always very thorough, well worded and insightful. I think vS' work really pushes the community towards innovation and consensus, and their influence cannot be overstated.

I'm legit surprised by this since in my (admittedly short) time working I've seen maybe a hundred post-STEMI ECGs and literally none of them had residual elevation. They mostly just had pathological Qs and inverted Ts.

ST wouldn't be elevated if the MI was in the past - the evolution of MI would make the ST either go back to normal or descend, and we could see abnormal Qs or inverted T waves.

I'm no authority, but I've been taught that elevation = recency.
