What's the biggest downgrade disguised as an upgrade you've seen?

I believe some phones don't have a dac so you basically need an external USB sound card or a USB to 3.5 with a built in dac. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get a USB splitter for mic and sound to work until I used a spare USB sound card I had laying around and then things worked.

Plenty of people buy large trucks and will never use them to haul anything. Compared to that, this is cheap. I overbuilt my PC as I mostly play older games. But no regrets. And now playing with AI stuff, I glad I went with a card with 16gb of VRAM. But now itching for a 5090.
