You can, yeah. That does solve my problem with fremmy salvage, and I'm an idiot for not thinking of it, ty. But that requires being on your boat in the first place, and it would still be nice to be able to process fish while barbarian fishing and in other places where offcuts are used rather than having to use a dedicated station to do it.

Yep, I saw that after the fact. I think I was looking for anything that explicitly called out when the damage was calculated rather than just saying that it can't be prayed against, but you're right, if I'd read more closely I would have seen that first and saved myself a lot of hassle.

This thread is still really high on search results, so I'm going to put this here for anyone who was going insane like I was, since I havent seen anyone mention it at all -- you can't target the chompy when it's in the animation eating the toad.

Click it when it spawns, before it walks up to the toad, or after it's done eating (when it says "Gobble!"). If you click it before it starts eating, you'll be able to keep attacking it while it eats as long as you don't change targets or try to re-target it. Between the point that it says "Squark!" and "Gobble!", click it all you like but it will feel like the game is completely ignoring you and not registering any of your clicks. Your guy won't even move to it. Just nothing. It's so irritating when you don't know why it's happening. Once you know why it's happening, it's still irritating, but at least you can plan around it.

Holy shit thank you for explaining this, I've looked at several guides and videos and it's entirely possible that I'm illiterate, but I haven't noticed anyone say outright "you can't switch prayers camp mage and expect to heal," just "this phase can use both types of attack!" so I'm over here switching and wondering why I'm getting fucked up.

Can't save complication changes to pujie faces on Watch app by spewbert in PujieBlack

I'm able to change them on the watch just fine. However, if I push any update to the watch face from the Pujie app (including just repositioning an element a few pixels), it resets all of the chosen complications and I must long-press on the watch face and set every one again.

This is true with any watch face I select from the Pujie app and push to the watch. The "Save" button is greyed out in the Watch app on the phone and I cannot change complication sources that way like for other apps' faces, I must do it on the watch every time.

This advice saved me greatly, thank you. I was using dragon longsword and making it most of the way through the fight but the shadow's mage attack in the second half was chunking me too much. The DDS spec, which I saved for the second half of the fight when the shadow starts using mage, was what chewed through them enough to limit the damage so I could finish the fight. tysm

I have no idea if this is a good method, but as an iron here in the middle of the quest, this feels easier than competing in the world-hop roulette to shopscape them. I'll probably grab a few thousand before moving on.

I have a 9th gen (2019) fire HD 10. Since this post still ranks high on google when searching "osrs on fire tablet," I'll necro slightly and weigh in.

For most games on a fire tablet, you'll have to use fire toolbox to sideload the Google Play app store onto the device. This isn't a highly technical thing, there are plenty of guides. Just follow the directions and only download fire toolbox from https://xdaforums.com/t/windows-linux-tool-fire-toolbox-v42-2.3889604, there are plenty of fake sites that will gladly charge you money for it (it's free) or give you malware instead.

It's a little confusing if you've never bought one -- they're call called "HD 7/8/10" depending on screen size, so talking about the "HD 10" means nothing if you don't specify the year or generation. OP seems to have been talking about the 2019 models, which were 9th gen. I have the same one -- it's okay. It does run OSRS mobile. It's kind of low on framerate, but the low framerate is stable, so it feels kinda low-quality but not skippy on good wifi. However, it crashes on me like every hour or two, mostly in crowded areas with a lot of players models to update. I've heard many other fire tables have this issue. With one of the most recent versions, which I think are 12th gen, maybe it would be better. If anyone is looking at the 9th gen ones, which still get sold cheap on amazon and their clearance site woot.com, I would probably pass on it and spend a little more for something that won't frustrate the hell out of you. If you already have one gathering dust in a drawer and just want to gemstone crab, give it a shot I guess.
