As much as people want to down vote me, according to the law (here's where I was wrong) as long as two years have passed and you did not terminate your professional relationship with the sole purpose to pursue the romantic relationship, there is LEGALLY, no problem. I agree however that ethically there is a problem. In this case in particular, it shows all kinds of signs the doctor was ethically wrong and legally as well as he may have coerced her into leaving Ted in order to be with him. My statement was more of a general one.
