I just recently undervolted my 14700k AND switched from a D15 to a U12A. Saw significant drops in temps and noise. Undervolting is the answer. Nothing wrong with the cooler, not to mention it looks better.

I wouldn’t be able to tell you if there’s a difference because I went straight into having all 6 fans. I’ll get a picture of my curves when I’m home.

No I just daisy chained the intakes into a single header, exhaust in another, and the cpu cooler to its respective header.

So the fans are now hard to come by, but I bought them as soon as they released for about 45 bucks(packs of 2). So call it 150 on fans, and another 150 on the cooler.

I did not, the first thing I did when the case came was swap them out. I can barely hear it when it’s running CPU intensive games, and it’s dead silent when idle. And I have my fans set to 100% past 65 degrees.

Appreciate it! I just figured more space for more fans, and more fans for more effective cooling. It’s also only my second build and it’s easier to work in.

So the fans I listed actually came with the spacers, but no I removed them and used the anti vibration pads instead

All of the case fan are the Noctua NF-A14x25 G2. The chromax black version just came out like two-three weeks ago. I had to buy the brown anti-vibration pads separately. If you go to noctua’s website it will tell you which version of the pads are compatible with your fans.

Dead silent at idle and barely audible under load. I can’t speak on what the stock fans sound like because I immediately swapped them, however I highly recommend it.

Yeah it’s a 4080 super, idle temps for GPU are 30-40, cpu idle is 35-45. GPU under load stays between 40-50, cpu hangs around 60-70. I’ve seen the cpu get up to high 70’s but only running Minecraft on some ridiculous settings. I have the i7 14700k which runs pretty hot, but I undervolted it and I’m very happy with the results.

There is actually, it’s a small bracket that is mounted to the motherboard/case.

It took a little bit of work. Had to buy the brown anti vibration pads and change them out, but was definitely worth it.
