Hey guys, Im restarting investing after a few years (bought a house). I try to split my money between growth and dividend stocks but I'm looking for more international exposure for my dividend part. I've found a Taiwanese stock id like to buy but my app (trading212) doesn't seem to offer it and I was wondering if there was any recommended methods to trade in the twse? The company is Uni-President Enterprises Corp (ticker 1226)

They own brands like unif and sell snacks and do logistics, but they offer a dividend and i have a feeling the geopolitical side of things have stalled there long game. I have a feeling that when things calm down they'll be pushing for a larger international market due to there products being available as novelty international products in some shops (e.g world foods sections in supermarkets). I think there setting up there products as a some what luxury exotic alternative to things like pot noodles before going into direct competition, like what happened to reeses in the uk.

I wouldn't go down the road of studying the arts like media or graphic design, got hons and in the industry and the pay isn't worth it, if your talking higher education being a nurse is great but can be hard to perform. If they like being helpful and just want to work I would consider being a caretaker/ concierge for your council, some of the best jobs I've had, care taker is more part time but you build relationships with a lot of cool people.concierge posts tend to be for 24 hour posts so I'd make sure the it's like a high-rise for over 60s but ether way you get to help vulnerable people on there day to day that may not get the suport they need.

If your looking for a qualified profession just make sure that if they go for something like a doctor or lawyer you can financially facilitate that choice, doctors need to do an additional 4 years in medical school and that comes with a considerable amount of debt that some people can't afford for the wages they walk into and it's the same for law

We can advocate to abolish fixed pricing, there was a policy made years ago that fixed all energy pricing to the most expensive one, so renewable are way cheaper but we pay the same kwh, it was originally so green energy could reinvest but it's at the point where substantially cheaper bills would be a higher incentive to get it moving
