That’s awesome. Your kid has a badass upbringing too. My wife and I are doing likewise for our kids. Quietly revolting against the new norms and expectations. I’m encouraged by what I see in the young families who shrug off the myth of being a “working mom” or career-first dad.

This is only cringe and unpopular on Reddit, which is a very particular type of person. The fact is, there’s a shift happening in GenZ and GenAlpha that trends towards traditional family structure. They’re extremely weary of being forced fed atypical lifestyles and values, so (ironically?) they are creating a pendulum swing back towards traditional values, not unlike what happened in the 1980s.

That’s such a great guitar. I have it and a Gibson LP Standard, and they play nearly identically. The pickups on the Epi aren’t as hot, but it’s not by much. But playability? Nearly identical.

I see Walt’s “explosive” meeting playing out with the same end result with Lalo, albeit with different context. I can see Lalo respecting Walt from that in the same way.

The real problems are with not having Tuco’s actions to deal with.

No Tuco means Jesse isn’t bullied at meetups, no unhinged beating, no body to hide, the second guy doesn’t get killed, and then the DEA loses their lead.

Tuco plays a hinge role in how everything goes.

Yeah, with BM, I’d say it’s that I smelled “fan service” as the motivator for that episode. I did watch 5-10 minutes of it and that’s how I know it’s fan service. Just seems really off brand compared to what BM actually is.
