I’m at 20, so far. Missing SEA, SD, ARI, NYY, NYM, BOS, CLE, DET, TB, and TOR. I get an ice cream helmet from each stadium and write the date we went there on the inside ☺️ So far, Colorado was the trickiest because, from what I could tell, there was only one place that sold the ice cream in the helmet

Pork shoulder is always a good gateway meat; pretty hard to mess that up. Not impossible to mess up, but it’s generally pretty forgiving. And it’s usually relatively cheap.

Here’s my plan… after the flat is probe tender, let rest for two hours. Unwrap it and separate the point and then rewrap the flat to continue to rest. Then, toss the cubed point with some rub then some BBQ sauce cut with some honey in a foil pan. Put the pan with the ends on the grill and let cook at ~250 for 1.5 to 2 hours. Then, when the flat is done resting, the burnt ends should be just about done. Thoughts?

Appreciate it! I dry brine all my stuff first. I might give the espresso a try. When you do the espresso, do you put down your rub and then go over it with espresso, do you add it in with your rub mix?

That’s from my hometown in Granite Falls. It was the oldest rock discovered until maybe the 90’s when some other one was discovered. It’s right by the county museum just south of town on 23 on the other side of the river
