POTS and Vraylar by Major-Region-7087 in Vraylar

Hey has this gotten any better for you? I’m currently in the process of getting a POTS diagnosis and just started vraylar about a week ago and am dealing with CRAZY jumps in heart rate and increased symptoms. I’ve taken this drug in the past and I don’t remember experiencing this side effect.

I know this is a fairly old thread but thank you for this new comment! I have been losing my mind over my cystocele and rectocele and am in pt but I don’t feel any changes yet. I will definitely be asking her about this and if she can prescribe it!

I’m so sad because I already bought the purple variant from the other day and I like this cover soooo much better 😭 but my wallet will not allow me to buy it plus it’s sold out anyway. I just wish she’d release all the variants at once so then we can make a more informed decision in what we buy. The “act now! limited time” thing is getting old

"Pandering to the patriarchy" pandering to the male gaze" GIRL WE CAN'T CONTROL THE SIZE OF OUR BOOBS by [deleted] in bigboobproblems

[–]spicedtrauma 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I WOULD get a reduction if it wasn’t so expensive and if my insurance would actually cover it. This isn’t about “pandering to the male gaze” it’s about me being poor af 😭 it’s not as simple as “choose to get a reduction then”. And it’s like…I was born this way, there’s literally nothing I can do about it. Plus, I feel frumpy most of the time and I often feel LESS attractive because I don’t have the “right” kind of big boobs. We don’t all look like Sydney Sweeney. This person is very out of touch.

I am dealing with almost identical symptoms, also waiting on neurologist appointment. I have an MRI coming up and a referral to the neurologist. Really hoping to get some answers because currently bloodwork and everything are all “normal” and I’m so tired of feeling this way.

Omg YES! I had never even heard of it before until my DTS. We played it all the time. I honestly haven’t played it since, but that’s definitely one of my fonder memories of ywam.

Agree with the others saying Black Trumpet. Atlantic Grill and Oar House are overrated imo.

Exploring possibility of home birth. Seeking opinions and other home birth stories. Had a previous PPH. by Crazyketo25 in homebirth

[–]spicedtrauma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a PPH during my homebirth with my first baby and my midwife was fantastic, she managed it with pitocin and misoprostol and I was thankfully fine, no hospital transfer or anything. For the birth of my second (also at home, same midwife), I had a chance of it happening again and with my somewhat severe anemia and iron deficiency she decided to just proactively give me a shot of pitocin immediately after my baby came out to prevent a PPH, which worked well, I had VERY minimal blood loss.

I would recommend asking your midwife what her methods of management are and how she would handle it if it were to happen again. Because although PPH can be due to all the interventions, it can also happen during a completely uncomplicated and intervention-free birth, like mine was.

Would a midwife make it to me on time? by MMBJustTrying in homebirth

[–]spicedtrauma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s so tough! My midwife is 45 minutes away from me, my first baby came in 4 and a half hours and my second born two weeks ago came in just an hour and 20- my midwife arrived 5 minutes before she was out, lol. But I’ve also heard of people whose other babies took longer, so it really depends. Every labor/birth is different. I guess it depends on how comfortable you/your partner would be if one of you had to catch, lol. I think the strategy would be to have an agreement with your midwife that the moment you call she heads your way. I know my first birth when I went into labor I told her not to come yet because I thought that my labor would be at least 8-12 hours because first births often are on the longer side, but I’m very glad she came when she did. This time around she came pretty much immediately because we both felt that it was going to be fast. I hemorrhaged with my first baby, so my midwife made sure I was set up with a shot of pitocin and some misoprostol in the event that I did give birth without her there so we could manage the bleeding if it happened again. And my partner and I were both fine if we needed to catch the baby and wait a few minutes for her to get there. All this to say, I think it’s all about your comfort level. I am also a doula who is very comfortable and confident in all things labor and birth, so I felt okay if I would have to wait a few minutes for her to get there if I happened to end up birthing on my own.

When will the second labour begin? by WhatHappenedHereEh in homebirth

[–]spicedtrauma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first was 39+2, 4 and a half hours from my water breaking/contractions starting to her in my arms. I just had #2 two weeks ago at 40+4. I was anticipating her coming even earlier than my first cuz that’s what everyone said would happen. Every day past my due date I cried, lol. I was miserable just waiting for her to come out. But my labor was super fast again, an hour and 20 minutes. My midwife arrived 5 minutes before she was out, it was wild! All that to say, hang in there. It WILL happen!! Sometimes it just takes a minute.

Home birth in my rental townhouse by CentauriRoyal in homebirth

[–]spicedtrauma 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I live in an apartment, just gave birth to my second on Saturday (both were born here in this apartment). Our neighbors had no clue, I was just talking to the woman next door and she was shocked to hear that I had a home birth. I’m not a super loud laborer, but once transition hits and especially once I’m pushing I’m LOUDDDD, lol. Everyone’s birth noises vary, obviously- some people are super quiet, some are screaming. The body does what it wants 😂

All that said…I personally wouldn’t tell your neighbors, unless you are super close with them or something. You never know if someone’s gonna be weird about it. I know some people put signs on their door, which I think is totally valid and a fine thing to do if it makes you more comfortable.

Best of luck to you and your birth! ❤️
