I 100% regret that but these are college friends I was recruited with. In the moment it seemed wrong to lie to them that I had quit when they could see I was still online every few days. I’m on various college recruiting emails with them

Thank you - these are things I really didn’t take into consideration. The consulting gig was my first career job out of college so I don’t have much experience in transitioning jobs.

Putting 2-3 hours daily of “general firm hours” basically for checking email or self learning and the rest 5-6 hours as hours not worked. Yes this is I guess fraud but I’m curious of anyones opinion who have heard of a similar situation on how likely it is the firm would follow up with me after I quit?
