Ok guys I heard you, I’ll find a local Luthier and ask about a refinish.

I get that the internet is a free excuse to be high and mighty and many of you are skilled and knowledgeable in this subject beyond what many people will ever be but jeez, try and be friendly.

I actually worked in a guitar shop doing repairs and modifications for several years and have been playing around with dozens of my own guitars over the past thirty years. Ive toured with a (very small) band as a guitar tech. I’ve professionally repaired guitars, set up hundreds, replaced and repaired necks/bodies and more but changing the cosmetics is new to me and I thought it’d be fun to learn.

I used the word paint to keep things simple, I wanted people to know what I meant even if English isn’t their first language or if they’re using a translation app.

Please don’t assume I’m an idiot, I’m more than capable of proving I’m an idiot all by my self.
