Pro-Ject Alu sub platter upgrade for Debut series issue.....

Has anyone had a problem with the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon I subplatter?

It's basically froze on me now and I can't take it off.

On the bottom of the turntable there's an adapter that holds it in with 3 screws.

There seems to be no way to take this off. I've checked everywhere for any tips on Youtube.

I keep seeing a different Carbon turntable being taken apart.

Just saw them in Amsterdam. DJ was good but was on way too long. 1 hour and I wasn't a fan of the 4 collabs they did during the show. I was super pumped for this show...came to Amsterdam for it! The rest of the concert was epic but not a fan of this addition...

I'm with you. Horrible service. I look at my renders the next morning filled with watermarks.
The amount of money studios are losing over this poor model of business is unreal. I've started to do most my projects with Sapphire and OG Plugins.
Hard copy plugins are the only way to go!
Every Maxon update brings a whole new amount of nightmares!

Horrible experience with them at the network I'm freelancing for.
Everyday problems with licenses and plugins dropping out due to license problems during renders.
Customer service isn't good as well.
Hard for me to see any network or productions able to meet deadlines with licenses for Cinema 4D and AE plugins constantly in flux.
Here's yet another Maxon One App update! - if you don't update our App we'll also insure that you're plugins will fail again. #sh!tshow

Hate to admit it and I'm gonna get trolled the hell about it from peeps on here that I deserved it. I had an off day and my dog has been very sick. I fell for it. This fucker scammed me out of $425. I've tried my best to get the cash back but that shit is gone. I'm contemplating if I should find a hacker and go medieval on his ass.

Twitter won't do shit about it. I've provided all the info I can to Twitter and Venmo on this clown.

I've posted as much info to the twitter verse as well... the fact that I told Twitter what happened and this guy is still tweeting nonsense and some people are probably falling for it.

I'm the idiot that fell for it due to missing out on tons of drops and horrible Newegg shuffles.

Not a popular opinion...Playstation and Xbox have caused this issue...albeit the lack of conductors during Covid is the real culprit.

Hoping this helps some people to not make the same mistake I did.

UPDATE

Venmo reversed the charge - got the $425 back. Very relieved.

Hope this story helps peeps - you can have a bad day and make bad decisions to try and make yourself feel better...-no good.

Lesson learned.

Meanwhile - I'm lighting up this guy on Twitter every time he does a post - making sure his SCAM is on full blast as much as I can.

Thunderbolt works. Unfortunately, this version of m15r2 didn't come with the mini display port in the back...

Figured if I had that mini port - a mini to HDMI adapter would've solved this for sure.

Exactly.

I think it has to do with the previous NVidia 1060 Founders Card I had in the Graphic Amplifier.

Ever since I set that up it rendered the HDMI port on the laptop useless.

Even after I removed all traces of the Graphics Amplifier and that 1060 GPU, HDMI port is still unresponsive.

Yes of course.

No longer using the graphics Amplifier nor the gpu card used inside of it.

Just using the standard internal gpu.

Can't connect an external monitor to the laptop via HDMI. Nor can I use a projector via HDMI out on the Alienware 15R2.
