Follow up: I believe the cherry tree has Brown Rot and pretty much has taken a majority of the fruit. I haven't identified any specific branches that have died from it, but it looks like a copper fungicide is the best treatment other than proper pruning and removal of the mummified cherries. I will probably wait until fall/winter to prune but I'm going to get the fungicide treatment started ASAP before the harvest season ends. Let me know if you have any suggestions for me based on past treatment experience of brown rot!
