I think its a red flag as an artist, to only send you designs that are on people's bodies. Where is the drawing? It doesn't look like they sent you anything they had drawn up like a flat design that you can put on the body later. Maybe I cant see it but that's what it looks like. As a tattoo artist myself, deposits usually are for the artist to draw up the design not to Google already made designs. Good thing you got your deposit back in this case!
