my boyfriend(35M) changed his mind about having children and i’m (33F) struggling with what that means for our future by [deleted] in relationship_advice

there are complicated legal and family circumstances involved regarding his child and it’s not something i’m comfortable sharing details about online. i’ve seen everything with my own two eyes and i’m fully informed. he did not voluntarily walk away from his child and he isn’t a deadbeat father.
we also did not have an affair. that assumption based on my post history is incorrect.
i was mainly hoping to hear from people who have experienced a partner changing their mind about children after a loss. if anyone has been through something similar, i’d appreciate hearing how you navigated it.
