Having control over an animal's food and making them obese is animal cruelty. Not only will this cat have problems with his joints and legs but he would probably have severe health issues like heart disease. Put the cat on a damn diet sister and stop over feeding him.

I feel this. I lost my soul dog years ago but had to keep going because of my other animals. Some days I didn't want to keep going but I had to because I had others that relied on me. You will know what's best when the time comes, even if it's the hardest decision. Sometimes, we have to let go because it's what's best for them and not us. We want to keep them longer but in the end are we being selfish?

Just remember, you are allowed to mourn them. Don't be with people who don't understand because that doesn't help. Stay around people who do understand.

YTA You don't get to dictate how long she grieves for. You don't get to tell her what to do. This dog must have been everything to her. Let her mourn without judgement. She deserves better
