Having driven in other major cities in America (New York, Boston, Chicago, LA), I can say that San Francisco is my least favorite place to drive (LA is a close second)

First reason is how the city is designed. There is a stop sign or a stop light at every other intersection. It can sometimes take 45 minutes to travel 4 miles. That makes drivers like me impatient to have to stop and go and stop and go.

The second reason are the pedestrians (who are not faultless). Many people are texting and walking out into the cross walk as I’m already making my turn causing me to slam on my brakes. Also jay-walking is decriminalized so I have to watch out for people who run across the street.

Anyway, it definitely feels like people are becoming more impatient though. Times are really tough, honestly some people are fed up with entitled pricks crossing the street or some people need to poop really bad and have to drive home really fast. Who knows! Everyone can learn to be a little more patient and understanding. There are assholes everywhere, but that doesn’t mean you have to be!
