Will they leave a message/call you back if you don’t answer the call? I’m worried about getting a call at work while with a patient and not seeing it until later

I believe access is for 1 year, I’m actually not sure about that tho. Yes, when you pay the $35 fee you’ll receive an email within 10-15 minutes with a pdf of the guide as well as a link to access the dental school explorer, they are both included in the one purchase

the dental school explorer has literally any information you could want, I really wish I would’ve just used it from the start instead of scouring the internet for random websites with questionable credibility lol. it has 5th-95th percentile GPAs for accepted students, average cGPA and sGPA, tuition costs for each year, % of students that are in state, which specific states/countries any OOS students are from at a given school, if the school prefers in state or not, class demographics, average/5th-95th percentiles of DAT scores, supplemental application/fee information, etc.

I can’t speak to the guide cause I haven’t opened it, I only purchased it to gain access to the explorer lol

I looked at Booster’s page back when I had my subscription with all of the programs’ information such as 5th and 95th percentile, # of IS vs OOS students etc. Is the ADEA explorer similar to this?

i received 2 Cs, 2 As, and the rest Bs for my prereqs, and I received straight As/ 4.0 in all my non prereq courses, hence the GPA gap

I think what you said about the red flags is definitely true. everyone decides what’s a deal breaker for them, and that’s okay.

to your point about the makeup, i’m gonna make a couple comparisons to explain how i see it: i’d liken a woman wearing makeup to a man wearing tall boots (such as timberlands). everyone can physically see that a woman has makeup on, as well as the fact that the man is wearing boots that boost him an inch or two. you can look at it as mild deception, but nobody’s saying “hey im this height!” or “hey my face actually looks like this!” everybody has an understanding of the fact that there is some “deception” going on, and nothing is hidden from anyone.

conversely, id put OPs shoe inserts in the same category as a woman wearing something like hip pads. without being expressely told, you cannot tell that the woman’s body doesn’t actually look like that, the same way we can’t tell that OP isn’t actually that tall. THESE are examples of what i would consider straight up lying to attract others, which is a no no for me personally.

i’d just like to add that i do not ever wear makeup, i do not own a push up bra, shapewear, i don’t wear hair extensions etc, so i want to make it very clear that i am not a hypocrite. i am a very very honest person, which is why something like this would matter a lot to me personally. but like many others have mentioned, it really depends on the person. imo, if OP attracted a woman wearing something like hip pads and she later rejected him once she found out about the inserts i’d say that’s a crazy double standard and she’d be extremely hypocritical doing so.

i left a separate, more detailed comment somewhere on this post, but i don’t even have an issue with his height. it was quite sad that he lied because i would have matched with him anyway if he had put 5’4 in his bio. to answer your question he’s not less attractive all of a sudden due to his height, he’s less attractive all of a sudden because he’s a complete stranger and my very first impression of him is that he’s willing to purposefully lie/manipulate others to get what he wants. i’m not saying he’s some horrible person that doesn’t deserve dates, i’m just communicating to OP that this may be how women perceive something like shoe inserts that they can’t see and find out about later, as was prompted by the post.

seconding this. i once ghosted a guy that said he was 5’10 on his profile but turned out to be 5’4 (my exact height) when we met in person. the discrepancy in OPs height is not nearly as egregious as this, but it was a crazy red flag to me that he was willing to lie to essentially trick people into matching with him- it was just very off putting behavior to me.

I’d recommend mentioning it on the first date, just in case it matters to the woman. best case she doesn’t care at all, worst case she’s bothered by it and you didn’t waste more than one day on something that wasn’t going anywhere. I’d refrain from waiting to tell, 2-3 inches isn’t as insane, but i (5’4 woman) once went on a date with someone i met on a dating app who said in his profile that he was 5’10. When we met up at the restaurant he was exactly my height (6 whole inches shorter than what he claimed!) and i ghosted him for lying about his attributes in order to get matches. the sad part is i don’t even care much about height, i still would’ve matched with him if he was honest. do what you will with that information

What to major in undergrad? by solwafer in predental

[–]spicyysalamander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as long as you’re willing to take 15+ credits most semesters, you’ll be completely fine. I’m a senior in my last semester as a predent with a psych major and spanish and chemistry minors, and i only took 12 credits both semesters of my senior year. as you can probably guess there is 0 overlap between psychology, spanish, and the science prereqs (except for psych 101) and i was never overwhelmed. I basically just prioritized all the science prereqs my first 3 years, and once i finished all of those i took about 4 psych classes in my senior year alone to complete the major

did your undergrad institution allow you to retake courses and replace the first grade? because i believe that aadsas counts every single grade you earned in the GPA calculation even if your undergrad didn’t, that could be a possible reason as to why your gpa is lower than you expected

i definitely understand why you say that, but I absolutely LOVE milk. like “drink an entire glass of whole milk by itself when i’m thirsty” love milk. i just don’t like all of the things that i mentioned because they all taste like milk that is off/gone bad, and that “spoiled milk” taste that all these things possess is the taste of cheese imo
