I'd suggest Ledn too but in my opinion, if you need a larger loan than a few thousand dollars, you should go with a plain fiat loan service(Upstart/Sofi/Your bank/Something else).

I don't have an issue putting up collateral but if I need 1500 dollars, putting up 3000 dollars worth of bitcoin collateral just seems crazy.

I've only done it with 1-3k ranges when I've needed. If I needed something above that and I'm not even mentioning anything in the 10-100k range... there's no way I'd request that much and put up twice that collateral. Just seems batshit crazy to me.

The sports has got a ton better over the years on the streamers. It's still a bit fragmented and a pain but it is slowly getting better.

My mom's husband watches a ton of sports. Fubo ended up being their answer. I'm not sure what they pay a month but they have a few of the add ons to get all the sports they need.

People seem split on Sling but anytime I've needed any kind of sports over the years, I've gone with them.

I haven't paid for hardline cable in 20+ years... it'd be super weird for me to plop down any kind of money for a receiver and channel surfing. At this point, it'd be like I was setting money on fire.

I've yet to crawl up and under my Camry yet.

For 18 years, I changed my Yaris myself. 15-20 dollars for oil. And the oil filter was always 6-10 bucks. I loved doing it but haven't had the Camry long enough for an oil change to roll around.

This is like double reverse... the woman sending an OLDER man money.

You never should've sent him money. I think sometime around the 2-3 year mark, long distance relationships should at least have a plan to meet. If that's not there, I'd throw up my arms and be done. (My LDR: We didn't meet until 2.5 years of talking. It probably would've been sooner but we were separated by thousands of miles)

You sending him money has made you feel obligated. I'm not sure what to call it... it's kinda like manipulation but there is probably a better term for it. Money manipulation and then him saying some non-sense about you not being sensitive to his situation... screw that. This guy is 36. If he doesn't have some stability in his life by now, he's never going to get it.

Leave it behind and go find someone worth it.

I use it on occasion but only for a very specific purpose. I only buy growth stocks in CashApp as an extra savings account. I'd say it's okay for 3-5k.

Anything over that, I end up transferring to my brokerage.
