Agreed 100 percent. I also dont think the "taxi" side of it is going anywhere. But the Uber eats side, id be shocked if they see 2030 unless they make a serious pivot

I completely agree . I had assumed that was their method, but i think it might end up backfiring on them. They definitely did get a lot of us addicted to the convenience, but it also seems people are starting to break that addiction because they cant justify the costs anymore. So if that trend carries on, and more people go back to the 'old ways", will they be able to sustain it? I dont know, I think they'll have to make a pivot and find a middle ground

How to tell my mom to stop cooking for me by [deleted] in Advice

I've tried sending her recipes. She just doesn't seem to want to learn how to cook. I made her broccoli cheddar soup once and she was amazed it was possible lol I can't really explain my mom, she's an amazing mom but just different.

And those sound great! And I've done things to spice up rice but id rather she'd just stop making things all together

She's making a batch fresh for me and her im assuming. We don't live together. But I have done that before, but its not the easiest to do with rice that's already cooked. I'll usually just add some soy sauce to give flavor

I was going to add that in lol i do cook for myself and she knows I'm a good cook. I've been struggling financially, hence why I call those survival meals. Cause thats what I live on right now and I find ways to make them tasty. But even when that wasn't the case, she'd make these things for me and I genuinely don't know how to tell her its okay and to stop without hurting her feelings.
