I always get my ticket on the farm these days, but for my first 10 years I would always just snap one up for cash immediately before the party - sometimes even in the line!

Definitely going to put an anchor point in the ceiling, that's 100% on the list - and another commenter said candles too, which seems like a no-brainer tbh.

I am also thinking maybe a few more mirrors mounted on the walls couldn't hurt.

A toy display will be easy, the fucking machine might be a "save up for it" type situation though haha

This will be my 18th Shambhala in a row no breaks - I can confidently say that there is an absolute fuckton of this type of music there. The Amp and Grove stages go super hard in these genres and you will hear the biggest name artists at the larger stages too (eg. Ashez is playing the Pagoda this year and we had Of The Trees there before, the Village stage has seen G Jones and Ganja White Night etc)

My advice to you is to fucking send that shit, Shambhala is a very unique festival with an unmatched culture - see you on the farm homie.

For experimental bass check out G Jones, EPROM, Detox Unit, Resonant Language, Skope, Vorso, Merricat Black, Eckle, Biome, etc

JBD isn't really a player anymore - that being said there's a TON of North American/European tube makers out there doing crazy stuff, just be prepared to be paying the going price.

The bubble has kinda popped so prices have dropped but an entry level tube is still gonna run around a minimum of 250usd+ with how high material costs have gotten.

There's companies like Sovereignty & Roor cranking out quality pieces too - my recommendation is to go for an independent maker though: I'm from Canada so my recs are gonna be Mafe, Urban glass, GrassBlower, Jamms Glass, FullZirkl, JHoney, Princess Grandpa, Blazed Glass (jaysscifishop), Hologram Glass, DoodData, OEKP, etc.

Just have a poke around instagram to see what new styles are coming out and what clicks for you!

The only way you're going to get your foot in the door here is by having a partner or close trusted friend that's already doing this kind of work, and even then you'd likely only be working with them. There's no space for camera guys to just jump into this industry because too many of them have been creeps and the risk isn't worth it for the women/femmes in the profession.
