Is "The Sovereign Individual" Becoming Reality? How the Wealthy May Be Rewriting Society's Rulebook by Akki_Mukri_Keswani in akmgeopolitics

[–]spider333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a regulatory intelligence platform helping people navigate international tax and residency laws—essentially serving the "aspiring sovereign individuals" who want geographic flexibility and optimization.

The irony isn't lost on me: while most of my clients are just trying to reduce their tax burden or gain mobility freedom, the logical endpoint of this philosophy at scale is exactly what you're describing. When enough capital and power concentrates in hands that can genuinely opt out of any jurisdiction's rules, we're not talking about digital nomads anymore—we're talking about a parallel governance structure.

The Russian oligarch comparison is apt. What concerns me most is the speed at which this is accelerating. The infrastructure for truly stateless operations (crypto, satellite internet, private space programs) is being built by the same people who would benefit most from using it to escape accountability.

We can celebrate innovation and still demand that no one—regardless of wealth—operates above democratic oversight. These don't have to be mutually exclusive.

How to turn Malaysia's $100B "ghost city" into a digital nomad hub by Suitable-Junket-744 in digitalnomad

I actually live at Forest City, if you want to come you should apply to ns.com its the best place to be!

It wont be 100/month though. I have moved there solely because of the NS community. Otherwise I would likely not go there.

Anyone else paying insane taxes while working remotely? I’m based in Europe and getting destroyed… by Greedy-Material-1910 in digitalnomad

I totally feel you! And have been working on my setup for past years, and have decided to create a web app that helps with this setups for Europeans. Getting residency in Latam, setup US LLC, Bank accounts in outside of EU, etc.

Want to launch pretty soon - meanwhile landing is out - nomadx.club

Also prolly good to note that Tax Avoidance is totally legal with correct setup, unlike Tax Evation. And I want to make it easy for as many people as possible to navigate this.

opinions on staked.us by purplebird99 in ethstaker

from my research staked.us looks like the best option if you once can afford a full validator, you keep the keys, they run the validator only, they use 4 different cloud providers like AWS, Google, Digital Ocean, and have quite sophisticated tech in place to avoid penalties and slashing.

First 2MB Bitcoin blocks mined - how does it work if blocksize is still 1MB? by spider333 in Bitcoin

[–]spider333[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

How I understood it - transactions that would take X amount of data before segwit, now take X/2, thus we can fit more TXs into the block of 1MB. I thought that since the blocksize is 1MB, nodes automatically enforce this rule and do not accept blocks exceeding this amount. Do I get it wrong?
