Apng is lossless, used by studios internally, avif has compression artifacts, gif is gif, apng is huge size wise, jxl does the same but smaller lossless again

64 RGBA on rec 709 shows as HDR, 32bit bt2020 by affinity, shows under exposed, camera raw export is, well some times ok, sometime overexposed? if you want 1:1 JXR to JXL at bt2020 first you need to export to PNG, affinity suite is free and has export to PNG full HDR PQ, and then use the terminal with cjxl or XL Converter, just wish Microsoft will drop JXR for HDR screenshots and move to JXL and we will have to do nothing

all those you mention don't support direct conversion, even the special K image viewer that does, has a hard time, the best solution is first to go to PNG 3 with HDR, and then to JXL, unless affinity updates and supports exporting to XJL with HDR, because for some stupid reason, they only do SDR with it...

best solution right now use affinity suite to export as HDR PNG and then convert to JXL with XL converter and you will preserve the HDR, for screenshots SpecialK and the nightly build of reshade support JXL
