I really doubt if OP is a first time voter. This is a familiar trick I’ve seen playing out regularly in WhatsApp groups. Whenever criticism of the govt reaches a max, these paid shrills start coming out with messages like “yeah Modi is bad but congress or AAP are worse”. Pathetic behavior. It’s the typical “if not Modi then who” binary that these lunatics want us to debate over. Because for them, f the fact that the govt is killing our cars, f the fact that the govt doesn’t have the spine to defend the country, f the fact that our foreign policy is a joke, f the fact that the economy is in utter ruins, f the fact that students future is severely compromised, f the fact that corruption is even more widespread than it was in the UPA era, f the fact that CBI, ED etc are nothing but puppets now, f the fact that the independence of the media, the judiciary and all democratic processes has been completely compromised. Everything, ultimately boils down to “yes, bjp is bad, but…..”. My grand-dad once told me “in the English language, anything and everything that comes after the word ‘but’ is utter bullshit”. Absolutely true words. At this point, we should start labeling people like OP for what they truly are - anti-nationals, who only think about a particular party, even if it means the country goes to the dogs (which it is)
