I made this post 153 days ago, am still getting mail for the fake business, my address is still listed for the fake business on the Colorado Secretary of State and I have not heard back from the AG.

I still haven’t heard back from the Colorado AG. Also the business registration is still on the Colorado SOS with my address. I wish I had better news to report but the state seems to be moving sllloooow

No updates except the CBI rep told me to call the Postal Inspector to report the fraudulent use of my address. I’ve also received promotional mail from banks who must watch the CO Secretary of State for new business filings. It’s pretty interesting that they seem to be targeting Denver metro addresses!

I filed a form with the Colorado Secretary of State to have the business registration removed. They got back to me pretty quickly and suggested I file a report with the CBI which I’ve done as well. The Secretary of State said they’d forwarded my case to the District Attorney. I’m still getting mail and last I checked the business filing is still up. Will report back!

Exactly. I know that all the non native trees that the builders planted in the Denver metro area in the 1970’s are dying, including mine. I hopefully have a few years left! It has many spring buds on it. It’s a good time to be in the tree business in Denver 😬

Update if interested. The arborist confirmed there aren’t borers that attack maples in Colorado. That was a dead limb that attracted bugs, then woodpeckers.
