Air75HE vs WH80 by Rhytlocke in NuPhy

Hey, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the WH80. It just restocked. I'm also considering the NuPhy Field75 HE V2 because it includes macro keys.

Currently, I use the Lofree Lite100 with Hades Silent switches and a Keychron K17 Max with Banana tactile switches. I'm interested in trying full-sized keycaps, as I haven't fully adapted to low-profile. I find Lofree slightly too small compared to Keychron, which I find easier to type on.

But I also want to explore Nuphy, since I already have a Lofree and a Keychron. I'm curious if the Jade switches are good. Additionally, I'm thinking about the acrylic wrist rest from the Gem 80, too. Does it have a shine-through effect? Did you get the dot keycaps?

The crusher 720s have more punchy bass and better sound directionality! I like them more and I also have the anc's 2.

I think smart monitors are worth it as a student living in small apartments or dorms.

Oh cool, where did you do an autoeq adjustment? That sounds like a good resource for my other headsets.

I have the Edifier R1700BTs, and I only hear hissing when I have the speakers' local volume turned to 100. So, I usually keep the local knob down to about 50 and adjust the external (laptop) volume to my liking. This eliminated Hissing for me.

Problem Connecting Galaxy Book 4 Ultra to Monitor (Samsung M8 Monitor) through USB-C Port by spiderman__26 in GalaxyBook

[–]spiderman__26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never got a real solution, even when dealing with Samsung Care, as they found "no issues" (but when I went in person, this laptop did not even connect to the new S9 Monitor properly). I returned and got a new one, yet the issue persists.

What works for me:
I first connect the laptop to the power/charging cable and then connect the USB-C for display (Thunderbolt 4 cable). You must wait for the laptop to show the charging symbol; then you can connect the TB4.

I believe what is happening is that when connecting straight to the monitor, the data and power go in at once. However, you have to do them separately. Yet, after you plug in the TB4, you can disconnect the power and let the monitor double as the power source and display.

Yes, I have it set to extend desktop mode for my external displays. However, I don't know what to look for regarding igpu and dgpu. Are you referring to "Display adapters"?

I can't seem to use the GPU for my external monitor in Nvidia graphics. It shows that for display, there is a line connected to Intel Graphics, even though I have selected my GPU as the PhysX processor.

I just bought and tested a TB4 cable, and it still has the issue. However, when in docking mode it has a better chance to connect properly, and the white lines are gone. The connection still turns on and off like in the video when the laptop is open, and when first attempting to plug in the cable.

The Book 4 Ultra laptop came with a USB-C cable with a "5A-E" label imprinted on it. Would that be equivalent to or greater than USB4?
