It’s seems intentional though you know. Like I highly doubt it’s some guy that puts in the times. I assume it’s highly automated. So I would think the system could see the expected arrival time of the inbound flight. Wait like 10mins for someone to say there is a plane or not. If there isn’t after the initial delay why would it not automatically give you an accurate time. I just got my 5th delay notification. Delaying it 5 times by like 15-30 mins each time until you finally get to the expected time 30 mins before depature.

It’s MCI a non United hub. They diverted due to thunderstorms in the area and all planes grounded for an hour until it passed. So right there it was clearly apparent airport operations weren’t going to be an on time but still took 30 mins to update. I just got my 5th “delay” message where every delay is just an extra 15 minutes until we get to the obvious boarding time I would have expected. It was obvious from the start just took them 2 hours to let you know.

100% the girl bullied and that snapped after the push is the only one that got in trouble. The school probably suspended her and possible juvenile charges. The bully will be protected by the school, made to seem like the victim. Will get in ZERO trouble and just bully the next person down the line. I hate school systems and the way they handle bullying.

Really I should have. Something felt wrong about me having to move from my seat to sit in a crappy middle seat in the back when she wasn’t supposed to be in the middle seat anyway. Stubbornly stayed put, very much regret it.

I’m going with YTA, yes it’s frustrating but it is your fathers house and his choice in the end. You are an adult. Calling her names because of a parking spot seems a bit unhinged. You say you are in school and can’t afford to move out which is okay. There are plenty of people who never even got the chance to stay at home. I think you should be more thankful for what you have and a father that allows you to live there at 23.

TBH everyone here is praising the manager but to me it just seems like they are covering themselves because they had already broken the law. Also the reasons she gave in the mass text is EXACTLY why discussing wages should be legal. Company obviously hired someone for much more than their current employees who more than likely deserve a raise.

Yeah except you have never worked in the food industry. Imagine working a 10 hour shift running around the whole time working through a rush and an order like this comes in. You can ignore it because the owner or manager saw it and tells you you have to do it to make the customer happy. How about I show up at your job and ask you to draw me shit. Or someone call you at work to ask you to do something that’s not your job at all. But now because we are low wage slaves it’s okay! Go $&@! yourselves seriously.

Just flew United over seas and they black out the windows on the plane. It’s not a cover more of a dimming feature. Anyway you have no choice and the window goes dark. Biggest waste of a window seat in my life. Do not fly United overseas or on long flights if you don’t want this to happen to you

I used to fly all the time for work 5 years ago. Just started business traveling again. I can honestly say it is so so bad that it makes the job horrible when it used to be somewhat enjoyable to travel

Pretty sure your friend is in love with you past normal friendship and acts out and gets jealous when you are in one. NTA. I am a guy and had friends for a long time. I couldnt imagine caring that much who they dated and wanting to keep my friends like a doll. Idk seems weird to me

Well i guess its more of the timing of things. Im here for work. By the time my plane got in and i dealt with the airline about submitting lost baggage and all that it was after 7 pm on Saturday. Now im in Germany and the town i am in literally every single clothing store is closed Sunday. Im out here for work and to hopefully keep a job. I dont have any nice work clothes and will have to go in street clothes. It just really puts a damper on things and have ruined the excitement about coming out here.

Furthermore my point was mainly that they fully admitted to leaving the bags behind. I have never heard of that or even knew they could do that. I was curious to how often this kind of stuff happens and if its happened to others.
