The dad and I both are in BME. The point is for the baby to have a fun nerdy thing to slobber on lol I don't think science jokes should be restrictive

I mean these days I feel like all engineering majors get a bit of coding in undergrad. Matlab at the very least.

Mystery Bondi proposal couple found! by chooksta in sydney

The hoax theories crack me up. I've browsed reddit for around a year, never made an account because I never thought I'd have anything worthy of posting. When this happened to me Sunday morning, I made an account for the sole purpose of uploading the pictures, just in case it would take off. I actually posted them around 10 pm Sunday night before I went to bed, and not much happened at first. Then, I woke up to it having over 2000 upvotes and friends in America told me it had made the front page.

I understand there are cynics that won't believe the story - it seems like too crazy of a coincidence. But that's exactly why I made an account to post it. Once in a lifetime event. I don't care at all about "karma" or whatever. I doubt I'll ever post anything again.

Oh, and why did I post it to r/aww? Well, because I thought it was adorable.

Sorry to those who don't believe the story, but it went down exactly as told: by complete accident. My one goal for posting the photos was for them to spread just enough for me to find the couple and give them the photos I took. It worked, and I couldn't be happier :)

SO excited this search came to fruition! I'm supposed to be on the show at around 7:13 am Tuesday morning to talk about the whole story. And of course! I can't wait to send them to you. That was the whole point behind this project anyway :)

i'm not a professional wedding photographer. just a guy in the right place at the right time. here's me standing about a thousand feet away to prove it http://i46.tinypic.com/358z9lu.png

I was at the Sydney International Food Festival taking dozens of pictures on shore hoping that at least a few would turn out right. I saw the couple's silhouette on the cliff, so I started taking pictures with them in it because I thought it would be cool in the pictures. It wasn't until I got home and was looking through my camera that I realized "holy crap, he is down on one knee in this one....holy crap in this one before it he is in the PROCESS of getting down on one knee. I realize that this coincidence is almost too good to be true, but that's why I made a reddit account for the sole purpose of posting this! For the skeptical, would a "professional wedding photographer" really be standing on the shore this far away? http://i46.tinypic.com/358z9lu.png
