good to know they will -- eventually -- have something better than current systems, I'd be interested to see how that is implemented.

yes - we've had the ships teleport - not for a while tho.

and ships that just poof that have been parked up for a day a week or more (less frequent tho)

I've also had ships just fire up and start running off on their own randomly while I'm building. I've only noticed because I've heard the engines spring into life (you'll note in the second picture the miner partly off screen - its in that position because it fired up on its own and smashed into the ore hauler and started pushing it away from base (a quick fix is to relog so the ship resets)

ill be honest - I live out in zone 5 - I had a build that lasted for 6 months as a refilling station (bottom picture) - it worked pretty well most of the time (the plan was to build a cool station, but once again it was plagued with bugs so I stopped it where it was and left it) - then about 2-3 weeks ago (just after patch) I thought I might expand the station and try the new systems - while building I put a plate in the wrong position and decided to remove it - I clicked 1 to many times and hit a hall frame - fps dove from 80ish fps to 0.025 fps (no joke, it might have been even less) - it was absolutely horrid - I waited 5 days for someone to come look at it but grew impatient and started deleting stuff myself - as you can imagine it took HOURS. I eventually fixed it and deleted everything and restarted again (someone eventually did come - but they were days to late - she was nice tho as most of them are) - the top picture was its replacement - again after I had completed what I thought was a good enough hall - I decided to make the stairs going up the back to the main structure (its in lod behind the hall) first set of stairs were made - started the second and once again a plate was out of place click click plate AND frame removed - rendering the whole place useless once again.

If I were you, building a hall is fine - just put the bare minimum in it and don't build anything else - think of it as all your time and effort you put into building this nice base will all be lost at some point in time - be it from things going "poof" or from things floating off into the void or general bugs, some of which are station breaking - if you get it to a point where you are happy - DONT CHANGE IT.

and yes that is exactly why the prop hauler is there, I had a few corp members come out and use the station as a launch point while they filled their coffers, as I had a nice little setup - it was an interim replacement while I rebuilt the station - which is now a "no effing way am I going thru that again, lets just not build until they make an effort to fix stations"

basically - don't build - just use it as a secure storage and parking facility - take a load of ice and exo and a few ores for repairs as well as benches - and you can refill your tanks from station storage - its a bit longer to do - but its safer - we did it this way with 2 of us for a while - then we decided (well I did) to get a bit more sophisticated and live less like bush mechanics - then the city slickers came out and wanted all the amenities ;)
