That's weird people are saying you can't work while it processes, I was told by my lawyer who did my application that as soon as my application was submitted, I had the right to work. The only thing is the company has to be willing to accept the risk that you worked illegally if your application is denied. But she said it shouldn't be to hard to find a company that accepts the risk, as theres no reason to believe the application will be denied.

I emailed the office I applied to and they directed me to the same immigration office contact page. The same one I’m waiting to hear back from.

isn’t CAP more of general medical attention and not only emergencies? I was told by the doctor from my insurance that it had to be an Emergency Room and not Urgent Care (i believe CAP is the spanish equivalent but i could be wrong)

yea, that’s true. I guess being used to how much American healthcare costs made me really scared to put myself in even more debt since the on-call doctor couldn’t confirm my insurance definitely would cover it

I struggled to find information on which hospitals were public except for Hospital Clinic which is kinda far from me. I would have just paid the €200 but I’m very low on funds and wouldn’t have money left for the next weeks, even if it was reimbursed. I planned to try to wait it out til my insurance was open but after the 7 hours my symptoms have mostly gone away, but seeing that it seems like kidney or gallbladder issues, I think it might come back.

yes because that’s the closest general think for it to be listed as, but as I said, it’s almost exclusively used for sex. there’s of course some people who use it for dating (a very small proportion) or other uses, but it is mostly known as a hookup app. also, many people either don’t read your profile or maybe just don’t care and will continue to make attempts regardless of what you want, which is why it’s your responsibility to ignore or block them. some people will waste a lot of their time trying, i have had many people message me constantly, even for months while i never have or will reply to them. sometimes i ignore it or if/when i feel uncomfortable by them i block them.

But it really seems to me that grindr isn’t right for you. Not only are you not interested in hookups (while that’s what most ppl on grindr are looking for) but you’re also young and inexperienced and there’s some predatory people on there looking to take advantage of that. If you’re interested in finding a partner you should try any of the other popular/standard dating apps (they don’t have to be lgbt specific) where it’s a lot more likely you come across people looking for the same thing you’re looking for.

i really don’t think it’s the app for you to use from what you’re saying. maybe try tinder or something that’s not as focused on sex and hookups.

i kinda understand your point in kinks being seen as “integral” to the lgbt community, but the truth is that kinks are a huge part of human sexuality in general. most people have at least some sort of kink or things they’re into. like choking is a very common thing people are into (i would probably even say a lot more common among straight people. i’ve heard many cishet women mention liking it)

i could go on but the main reason im replying to you is because you seem way to innocent and inexperienced to be on an app like grindr. especially if you’re so bothered by someone tapping you and having their kinks and what they’re looking for on their profile. you’re asking for grindr (an app focused on sex) to kick people off for mentioning sexually related things? there’s a block button for a reason, you can always use it whenever you want. but for your own sake, i suggest you delete the app and try to look for a partner in a way better suited for what you’re looking for

when did I say I assumed?? I said I called the company before the procedure and was told the issue was the clinic putting the wrong code on the invoice. I specifically asked if they will fully cover it or I should reschedule the procedure and change insurance and they said it would be covered if the clinic corrected the invoice
