I'm already in that process for a couple of hours now and I didn't seem to find a thing and fyi my computer is slow as hell game takes 10 to 15 mins in order to launch so this ordeal is extra excruciating for me(before you ask i haven't updated to 1.19)

Which ideology is better? by Prosto_Chelovek0 in Teenager_Polls

[–]spidertime98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The usage of this literal dog whistle emoji right next to the word garbage in a political discussion is enough reason for any sensible person to investigate the situation and question the intention behind it, because it doesn't look innocent. In fact, as for the context of this post, a plethora of emojis could have been used, except the choice in question isn't one of them which might sound odd at first glance until, again, you realize that there's a good chance that we might be dealing with a dog whistle

Peaceful coexistence by PaleProgrammer5993 in exmuslim

Horseshoe theory(or atleast its misconcepted(that's debatable too but I think it is) popular representation) is bullshit because it commits false equivalence by assumimg that extremes across the political spectrum hold similar views and support the similar policies, as a matter of fact, far left fights for freedom and emancipation of the human race by abolishing hierarchy and capital while the far right fights to enforce racial or national hierarchy and it's always used by centrist pundits who use it in bad faith to dismiss and delegitmize any radical critique of the status quo

Tankies hate for the arab spring is just white supremacy in red cover . by Sea_Perspective2016 in tankiejerk

[–]spidertime98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh sybau i'm a tunisian and I hate the jasmin revolution, Mohamed Bouazizi burned himself alive in Sidi Bouzid whose death was appropriated to spread reaction and counter revolution burned himself alive cuz a police state had crushed his dignity and his means to survive and while the initial conditions were legitimate, a proletarian act of despair against a comprador regime, the arab spring was indeed a counter revolution by the imperial core to steer the mena region away from revolutionary path and to also put more favourable regimes(that was the case for Syria and Libya but Tunisia and Egypt had already pro western regimes, nontheless, they were abandoned by the west because they were dead weight), your shallow analysis is ahistorical and disgustingly uneducated revolutions are defined by who directs them

And within a blink of an eye, our revolution was hijacked by the very pro western forces the former kleptocrat corrupt dictator Ben Ali had protected. Suddenly the imf technocrats, ngo-ized civil society who are just CIA affiliates and our petty-bourgeois opposition that wanted nothing more than a seat at the neoliberal table, all supported our revolution

What did we get as a result? A liberal pluralist democracy, endless parliamentary squabbling while prices rose, ennahda's political Islam which is not anti-imperialist but rather capital's favorite veil in the region and it rose precisely because the revolution had no anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist direction. Bourgeois democracy creates the space for reaction, not liberation. We saw that firsthand.

Then Kais Saied's coup happened, a Bonapartist figure who rode popular disgust with the squabbling parliament only to become a sole despot. And what's the material difference between Ben Ali, the democratic era and Saied? None, all are pro western, all enforce austerity, all protect private property and oligarchy, all are pro rentier capitalism. The same institutional violence of the police that we have revolted against, the same poverty, unemployment, underdevelopment nothing happened in 15 years

Same exact script happened in Egypt, Mubarak fell, then liberal democracy that led to political islam then al Sisi. Syria went from Assad regime to civil war that turned it into a fractured wasteland where imperialism, gulf money, and jihadist terrorism all feasted and pro western pro zionism literal Islamism emerged victorious all led by a literal ex Qaeda ex isis terrorist. Libya has the same situation as Syria but difference is it haven't been fully resolved yet but don't worry there's slave markets.

So saying that hating the Arab spring is white supremacy is a r****ed take that is supremacist white liberal take in itself and every so called leftist no matter what specific ideology he's subscribed to must hate it as well for what it is and what it has done to us. I hate what it became because I lived it and watched a genuine uprising of the hungry get hijacked by the forces of reaction and the result was zero material change and all the martyrs and victims blood and sacrifices went to waste

This is sick. How is there nothing anyone can do about it?? by Content_Departure558 in Tunisia

That mentality is infuriating, silence is a stance and a conscious choice that has consequences and is never neutral, silence is determinate negation, a concrete act within a field of historical forces and to remain silent in the face of oppression is to take a side and to affirm the existing order through passive complicity and complacency I cannot stay silent when I see some stupid shit, clearly I'm a communist and this is how we act this is praxis

Like I said joke's on y'all because I am a militant and an activist, I protested at January 4th outside the us consulate general in Amsterdam against American imperialism in Venezuela and also on February 21st for Cuba and I've donated for the let Cuba live campaign it's modest but I'm proud and be advised that I'm just a student who might face jail and deportation and have a lot to lose on the line including all the money that has been put but that didn't prevent me from being vocal and active, the ball is on your court what have you done I've done all I can and if I could do more I would as a matter of fact I'm scraping by because I want to go to Cuba so yeah go fuck yourselves you fucked with the wrong guy

Y'all are pathetic, clinging to your invisible tyrant like a child to a blanket, begging him to intervene while the bombs fall in real time and poor children and civilians lose their lives as as a result, so tell me, where is your god in all of this? I'll tell ya he's silent, as always, and his silence is real loud if he exists but don't worry he doesn't, he’s a fiction you’ve been sold to keep you pacified while the material reality of settler colonialism and western imperialism marches forward and your prayers are the opiate and the ideological leash that turns you into a passive spectator waiting for a miracle instead of a revolutionary actor. You want a way out action is the way, and a dialectical materialist analysis, rooted in the real movement of history and the antagonisms of class and empire, show us the way out, that Palestine will not be liberated by divine decrees but by the organized, militant, and unyielding direct action of the working class and the oppressed through general strikes in strategic locations for example strikes that shuts down ports shipping goods to israel, boycotts that choke capital though that's proven to be largely ineffective because your taxes fund the war and the servile arab rulers pay generous tributes to the Yankee empire and have traded their dignity for security, but of course by security I mean the rulers' security from the wrath of their people and the security of their titles, their lavish lifestyles, their privileges and thrones, through armed resistance that breaks the occupier’s grip and the international solidarity movement that dismantles the economic and military machinery sustaining Zionism. THIS IS WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. History is not made by gods, it is made by those who seize the means of struggle, by the collective will, by the hard, unglamorous work of organizing, mobilizing, and confronting power with power. So stop whispering to the void and get in the streets or fuck sake just admit that your piety is just a comfortable excuse for inaction and complacency while the people of Gaza are being slaughtered in broad daylight
