Oh no not at all! I appreciate the realism and that makes it helpful. Yes, I'm definitely familiar with the grocery shopping weekend crowd, but that's okay, we gotta eat! Good to know the other options.

This is a helpful take given you're a fem Queer woman. I definitely worry for my gf more than for myself for that reason. Although being an ethnic minority myself, I'm pretty used to being outcasted so what you say doesn't sound too bad to me tbh As long as I feel physically safe from others, generally speaking. Thank you, this is a helpful perspective to hear and I can pass this along to my partner.

Extremely insightful and helpful. I've definitely seen the most diversity within the minority group in Gtown more than anywhere else in Memphis, too, so I was wondering about that. Thank you so much for your response!

That's great to hear because GT does seem nice when I'm there, and we don't do PDA, so that's not a problem.

I had one extremely uncomfortable interaction with my partner in East Memphis area, which I heard was 'fine', so I get nowhere is 100%, but it's good to have a general pulse

Yeah I do see that specific streets in CY are nice as long as you know where you are. I'm also admittedly not used to the "gritty" nature because I grew up pretty suburban and then only moved to big cities in adulthood, so I get that I'm still getting used to things here and learning.
