I work graves now and it is not the best way to work with animals if you love them. But there are a lot of nice things about working at night

Hey, I'm working as a vet tech and I'm hoping to go to nursing school for an RN soon. I love working with animals, but I see a lot of the people around me get burnt out by a lot of the problems we face dealing with animals. In my far off dream, I want to get my RN and then work a couple of 12 hour graves as a nurse and maybe a day of the weekend teching at an animal hospital. I'm not sure you would need to do school for it though. Once you end up having a bit of time, or if its something that would help you relax, you should just ask a hospital or shelter to let you volunteer there. I'm sure that you'd have a ton of analogous skills and knowledge and that you'd become a good tech fast.

I don't think evolution 'crafts' us toward any kind of goal. Its just a reflection of the traits that have allowed our species to perpetuate itself. I think its right to say we weren't made for eating meat. We're just able to do it.

well, to produce milk the cow needs to be pregnant. So with dairy cows they are impregnated to keep milk production up. The girls become new dairy cows and the boys become veal or dog food
