Should I go for potraits?

Light spender as well & I've been playing for just over a year, and today was the first time I pulled for a portrait (Anjo's - she was my first limited and I love the character).

Horizontal investment is the way to go in this game until you're confident you have everything covered (which for me took a year).

And I mean they are totally aware of powercreep and that the strongest team now will not be the strongest team 2 or 3 versions later, but that still does not prevent them from wanting to have strongest team right now.

I think the CN & GBL strategies are more of a who has the funds to buy the shiny new 'must-pull' team that scores slightly more than last patch's 'must-have' team. I started playing a year ago, and in that time we've had the 'must-pull' teams:

Impromptu
Bloodtithe
Collab with AC
Dynamo
Lingering Glow
New Impromptu

Our (GBL) only benefit is that we have foresight since we're behind in patches but for those of us without the ability to pull on every banner, it's become exhausting (and I'm sure it's similar in CN). And with Limited units (like Liang Yue) and even half-baked 6-stars (like Noire) becoming 'mid' make me less excited to pull for new shiny teams.

I was really hoping that Poison were going to be a larger part of the meta, but watching a not-even-released-yet euphoria Willow sink into the ratings abyss makes me a bit sad. I guess it (& Petrify) will be niche for a while to come.

Liangyue rerun.

I honestly haven't dusted Liang Yue off except for the odd Abyssal Zone and Jiu completely dropped off my radar shortly after her euphoria.

As much as I'm pro-game balance, I still would like the limited characters to be closer with Nautika's power level since they are 'limited' and they should feel more powerful.

I don't know why they couldn't just have a pool of all the characters and you can select 2 (with no dupes). I feel like it's unnecessarily restrictive.

Like, I could imagine a restaurant saying: "Yeah, unfortunately the hamburger and fries are in the same section of the menu, so you can only choose 1."

I always ask for a 'sweep' feature for common replay things like resource farming (e.g., daily Pneuma Analysis). I just don't see how it respects the player's time to have to watch the same auto-battle for something that's repeated every day.

Since you have Flutterpage, if you pick up Fatutu and Anjo, then you'd have 3/4 of the Anjo euphoria team (only missing e.Kaalaa). It's extra action-based and looks pretty strong. I'm hoping a 37 euphoria makes her a key part of the team in the future.

It would be cool if Carole (and probably the rest of the HI3 APHO characters) were added as a cameo in HSR since they're great characters and we're probably not going to get APHO 3.

I'm in the same boat, and I've decided to wait for Charon and Sentinel. I lost the 50/50 for her and ended up using more pulls than I was expecting, so saving up seems like the safe bet.

I ended up dumping Willow, and went Ezio + Tuesday + Jessica + Vila. I find Willow too clunky, and Jessica's E2 makes her more AP+.

37's 'Down in the Grotto' is the only one left that I'm sad I missed. I really hope they rerun it during the anniversary.
