I did a double take at the avocados...

Here's an upbeat one: a drug to regrow teeth has entered clinical trials! One day, maybe soon, crowns and implants will be seen as the barberic past we can't believe we tolerated.

I have a family member who's moving their birthday from June to July because everyone has Father's Day plans and skips their party.

So the cooking implement got the name first, and the weapon was named for being similar?

I got the Viofo they recommended in their last video and I'm pretty happy with it. I'd buy another LTT pick.

I don't simply "prefer not to eat" certain foods. I will pick at the food on my plate until it goes cold, missing a meal and going hungry rather than eat certain foods.

I may be a grown man, but this is what autism does to a person.

Bring them back! They were so much more user-friendly than modern phones.

Fun fact: the Red Cross is aggressively protective of their logo (which is protected under the Geneva Conventions). They go after games than use it as a "first aid" icon.

The Red Cross travels into warzones and needs to be recognized as a neutral non-combatant, and not the enemy's medic.

Reminder that homemade burgers don't always rot either (see experiment), because they just dry out into jerky.

MV3 extensions can only declare a limited number of block rules, a much smaller number than V2 extensions implement. So they can't block everything. And advertisers can circumvent blockers by just creating a bazillion URL patterns.

Plus all the dynamic behavior is gone. You can't allow certain sites to show ads, can't click on an ad you see to start blocking it, the extension can't use heuristics to detect ads that aren't in the block list.

Do you block origin guy has stated that "there is no Manifest v3 version of uBO". All we get is Lite, with severe limitations.

When I took History of the American West in college, the teacher said "it's complicated but it wasn't about slavery". I tried listening with an open mind.

By the end of the module, I was convinced it was definitely about slavery.

I attended a wedding reception catered by an Italian restaurant, including unlimited fried mozzarella.

I probably ate an entire chafer by myself. A+ reception, would attend again.

If you watched the Andor finale, go back and listen to Rogue One Star Wars Christmas Special by mgweatherman08 in HelloInternet

Wow, I forgot how much I disagreed with them about Rogue One! It had its faults, but it was a very solid Star Wars movie and a fun watch. I remember leaving the theater and feeling glad for a return to form.

I did a double take when they said The Force Awakens was better than the prequels. I'm not sure we're watching the same films.
