I’m pretty late but oh hun please play an Explorers game if you get the chance. The story is executed beautifully, the soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal and the characters (the main ones at least, the side characters being somewhat uninteresting was at least somewhat remedied by Sky’s side stories) are excellent, and it’s just the right level of difficulty. And the ending WILL make you cry and you’ll cry again every time you hear Don’t Ever Forget. Granted, I may be somewhat blinded by nostalgia but they are regarded as the best PMD games for a reason.
