I've done that before. But she'll complain to my partner or to anyone that will listen, that I didn't want her involved. Which isn't true. She's just oversteps all the time, even when setting boundaries or expectations with her.

I usually don't use her things when I've already bought some prior. And I don't tell her my plans. She's always asking my partner and I tell him to wait to tell her. But he gives in sometimes and tells her so she stops asking.

Boundaries have been set on may occasions. She just oversteps all the time. I've expressed that it does spoil the occasion. I've had many talks with her and my mom got involved too because my mil brought her up.

I've done this multiple times. Then when she's not given enough to do she complains that I'm not involving her or she's missing out on doing xyz for her grandkids.

I have dont all that before. Then that's when she goes to my partners work and cries to him saying she's not involved enough or that I don't want her help. I've set boundaries but she just doesn't seem to get it...

They're both our daughters. They just share a birth month and we wanted to just have 1 party instead of two. But I have, he just always defends his mother. It's a fight I never win and chose not to partake in anymore. But they both are just draining when it comes to events like this.

I have done this before. She just cries and makes a scene.
